Thickness of base and black disc? the round black disc, what is it made of and is it attached to base. Thanks again.

@2D The base about 1/8" and then the disc sits at a bit of an angle and from the bottom of the base to the highest point is about 1/4". The disc is made of plastic and it looks like it can be removed, but I wasn't able to simply pop it out with my finger so I didn't try too hard as I wasn't sure if it would secure back in place once it's removed.
