Recommended Cover for a Forest River Rockwood 122 A-frame Pop-Up Trailer

Updated 06/06/2025 | Published 06/04/2025

Question:

I have either a 2020 or 2021 Forest River Rockwood 122 A-frame, hard side pop up. I ordered this brand of cover from another vendor in 2021 that continues to do a good job in exposed, extreme southern elements, protecting my A-frame hard side pop up - although it is now showing some signs of wear. It has covered breathing ventsinch on the sides for ventilation. It is no longer being carried by this vendor. Below, is the earlier version of what I believe your listed cover might be as listed by the previous vendor: Classic Accessories RV SkyShield Folding Camper Cover, Fits 10-12L, Camper RV Cover, Customizable Fit, Water-Resistant, All Season Protection for Motorhome, Black/Grey/Snow White Are we talking about the same, exceptional product, or a newer version? I definitely want to re-purchase this brand. Also, before the current, almost 4 year old cover wears out, would you recommend my putting the new cover on the camper, with the older cover over that, for even longer lifespan? Seriously, this cover has been protecting my camper through a hurricane, not to mention daily falling forest debris and pine needles, sun, shade and snow for almost 4 years. I would really like another from this same manufacturer.

The only style of pop-up camper cover we have by Classic Accessories is the PolyPro III Deluxe RV Cover for Pop Up Campers up to 12' Long - Gray item # CA80039. I am not familiar with any of their other pop up camper covers.

The Classic Accessories PolyPro III Deluxe RV Cover for Pop Up Campers item # CA80039 is great for warmer environments because the single-layer construction side panels and built in air vents keep heat from building up. The vent flaps at the top sides help with billowing on windy days.

The Classic Accessories item # CA80039 has a 3-ply PolyPro top panel which protects against the elements by beading water away along with blocking sunlight to prevent cracking and fading.

The built in side tie down triangles are a convenient feature as well. The included ropes will attach to these and allow you secure your cover and any excess material from flapping in the wind.

I would not recommend using two covers at the same time. One of the best features of the Classic Accessories item # CA80039 is the built in vents allowing the cover to breath. You're going to block those vents if you double up.

Thank you Jerred, I plan to inspect my camper and the cover soon. If anything, it looks like Classic Accessories has even improved on my existing cover. I definitely plan to order the model cover you offer from this company. I'll get back to you after my inspection.
