I have a 2023 Grand Cherokee L with an aftermarket hitch and 4-pin connector. Can I use a simple 7 pin to 4 pin adapter? Or do I need to install a 7-pin connector and wire the vehicle for brakes?

Hey Luis, if you were wanting to install the Tekonsha RF wireless brake controller # TK94FR the correct adapter you need is the # ETBC7L this is basically a simple 4-way to 7-way adapter but it also comes with the needed wiring to run up to the battery to activate the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way which is only other circuit the RF needs to be functional. Let me know if you were wanting a different brake controller.
