Question:

We are currently looking for a means of getting on board our 1979 Hatteras 43’ DC. The docks we come up to are often too short, so jumping is out of the question. Because we are getting ready to cruise, we are in need of something that can be easily deployed and recovered from the vessel. If this is possible with your product, we would love to hear from you.

Hey Michael. The Jif Marine Gunwale Hook Ladder item # JIF73FR is going to be our best option depending on how tall your boat is. This ladder is 60" tall and has a 250 lbs weight capacity. It weighs only 10 lbs and has a hook depth of 7".

Hey Jerred! Thanks for the reply. Our Hatteras has a 57” raise (straight up) from the dock. So your ladder might work. Do you have a ladder similar to this, but with a higher weight capacity? During times of maintenance we have to bring heavier items up the ladder.

@MichaelL You're welcome! For that style of ladder, the item # JIF73FR is going to be our highest capacity at 250 lbs. The Jif Marine Underdeck Pontoon Ladder item # JIF85FR has a higher capacity at 300 lbs but I do not see a way to mount this to your Hatteras.
