I am looking for a rooftop cargo system that won’t break the bank, but I don’t understand what all I need. Are you able to help find the correct items I would need or shoot me out some recommendations?

Hey Stephanie,

I can definitely get you an idea of some parts you would need!

Assuming you do not already have a roof rack on the vehicle, that is the first thing you would need. For your 2020 Yukon I recommend # Y59KB, Yakima Roof Rack. This is an aero bar system which are the quietest out there, and work with almost any accessory. This is a great quality, full kit that has everything needed to install onto your Yukon.

Now I am not sure how much storage you are looking for, so you will have to let me know more about how much storage you are needing. For now I am going to recommend a medium option, which is the middle ground for cargo boxes we carry. Not super large but also not tiny so a great middle option. I recommend the cargo box # Y07192, which gives you 14 cubic feet of storage. If you're anything like me cubic feet doesn't help! The interior dimensions where you will actually store stuff is going to be 73" long x 32" wide x 15" tall, and this box offers a dual side opening. Allowing you to load and unload from either side of the vehicle just in case you get that person that parks just a little too close to you.

If you want to let me know more about what you are wanting to use it for and store I can find a better fit size for you. Or if you already have a roof rack, let me know what kind of crossbars or system you have and I can find something for that too!
