Do You Have Replacement Keys for Master Lock PadLocks or Do I Need a Locksmith?
Updated 09/26/2025 | Published 05/05/2025 >
Question:
I recently lost both keys for a Master padlock. I do not have the key numbers. However, there are some numbers on the bottom of the padlock. Can a locksmith make new keys for this padlock using those numbers or in any other way?

Hey David, that sucks. I hate when that happens. You would have to ask your local locksmith but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to. Seems like that would fit their job description. We had some guys from Master Lock here not too long ago and they do not make replacement keys for their padlocks like item # ML1KA. Locksmiths do get master keys for them though. Sorry, but I do not have a solution for you that lets you keep your lock.
Let me know if you have any questions down the road, I'll be happy to answer them.
