Troubleshooting Hardware Kit Doesn't Fit Grille Guard for 2007 Ford F-150

Question:

I got the hardware kit for N 07 f150 king can 4 wheel drive and clearly this does not fit this grill although it is close. Am i going to get this to work if i am correct or is there another kit to get it to work if not lol

Hi Douglas; what hardware kit did you get? I don't see any orders so I'm not sure what you have right now. Also, what did that grille guard come off of? Was it another 2007 F-150? If it came off of a different truck like a Silverado, or a different generation of F-150, none of the replacement mounting hardware will work since the actual grille guards are vehicle specific.

I had gotten the mounting kit from you not sure why you can’t see it but I’m pretty certain the mounting hardware i got from you all was correct however i don’t think that the brush gaurd would be for my f150 lol. And was wondering if it came from a Dodge or something

@Doug that is the issue then I'm sure. You're not the first person to ask when that is the case, it happens pretty often and understandably people don't realize there are differences. Some people try to modify the brackets or have custom ones made to force fitment but I don't really recommend it. If you can find out what it came from I would try to sell it and find one specifically for your F-150.
