Recommended Trailer hitch for a 2024 Volkswagen Taos AWD

Question:
Hello! I am interested in a hitch for my 2024 VW Taos, AWD. Im looking for one that would be able to support the weight of a dirt bike and rack for the bike. I would estimate ~260lbs. Thanks!

Hey Cody, for your 2024 Volkswagen Taos AWD I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT79GR. This hitch has a max tongue weight capacity of 300 lbs so it'll be plenty for your estimated 260 lb tongue weight. This hitch also has a 2,000 lb towing capacity, has a 2" receiver, and includes all the mounting hardware needed for install.
