Best Cover for a Thor Chateau 22E for Storage
Updated 03/06/2025 | Published 02/14/2025 >
Question:
Our class C is 25 ft. bumper to bumper, 86inch wide, and 11 ft. high at the highest point over the air conditioner. Its a Thor Chateau 22E. Is this the best cover for this unit, or is there another youd recommend. It needs to have substantial UV protection as it will be in Arizona sun no shade.

Hey Thomas, thanks for reaching out!
Yes, the Classic Accessories PolyPro III Deluxe RV Cover # 052963793635 is going to be the best option for your Thor Chateau 22E motorhome. This has a 3-ply PolyPro top panel that will help to protect against UV rays, but I can't guarantee it's going to be the absolute best thing to fight a summer Arizona sun with zero shade. For that kind of situation, you really need to have a covered shelter like a tall shed that can give your motorhome 100% protection against the sun.
Is there anything else I can help you with when it comes to parts for your motorhome?

Thank you for the reply. An additional question...How do I accommodate an air conditioning unit the protrudes about a foot above the roof ( centered front and back, right and left)? It was a factory-installed unit. Can the act be operated when the cover is in place?
