Question:
When installed, how much height am I losing due to the height of the basement and the slide mechanism? That is, if I have 32” of height from the floor of the basement to the top of the opening, what will be the height from the floor of the slide to the top of the opening?

Hey Tom! The distance from the floor to the carpeted surface of the tray on # MR99FR is approximately 1-3/4". If you had 32" from the basement floor you will have 30-1/4" from the tray floor to the top of the opening. If you need anything else don't hesitate to reach out in the comments below.
