Hey David,

You can use the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700 as your 2021 Toyota Tacoma's supplemental braking system. There is a note that with your vehicle you'll want to set the brake pressure at 20 psi to start and then adjust up as needed. You'll also need to tap into the cold side of the brake light switch, which should be a blue wire coming from the brake pedal. You can test the wire with a multimeter # PT89ZR or hook & probe tester # PTW2993 to see if it only has power when the brake pedal is depressed to confirm it's the correct wire.

If you haven't picked out the rest of your flat towing components for your Tacoma then I have the following recommendations:

Baseplate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521196-5

Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates # e74ZR. This tow bar comes with safety cables bracketed to the arms and has a built in rise/drop to help keep itself level between the motorhome and Tacoma.

Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267. This diode kit will splice into your factory tail light wiring to display your motorhome's traffic signals through the tail lights of the Tacoma.

If you have any other questions or preferences for your towing equipment just let me know below in the comments and I'd be happy to help.

Hey David, how did things go getting the InvisiBrake set up on your Tacoma with that driveshaft disconnect? Your experience could point others in the right direction when setting brake pressure and wiring for this truck.
