Will Prest-O-Fit Interior RV Step Rug Stick To Carpet

Question:
I want to replace the current rubber step mats with these mats. Will these mats attach to the carpeted steps with the velcro, or is there a similar sized product with screw attachments along the with the velcro? My two steps are 6 inch and 10 inches deep, 25 inches wide.

Hey Paul; the hook side of the Velcro on the Prest-O-Fit Interior RV Step Rug for Landings # PR85VR will stick to your carpet. However, I'm not entirely sure how well it will hold with just the two strips. What I would do is pick up some additional Velcro strips or a roll from your local hardware store and add extra to the bottom of the rug to help keep it in place.
We don't have anything that comes with screw attachments. If you only care about the functionality and it doesn't have to look pretty you could always shoot some small screws in with a washer to help hold these in place as well.

Thnx for your quick (very quick) reply. There are some that wrap around down the step that have the screw attachments. I may try those as I want it to be very secure and be able to remove it for cleaning. Thnx again.
