Question:

I’m looking for a front receiver hitch. 2” 500lb for a 2000 GMC C3500. I prefer a bolt in. I see a few options just want your recommendations

Jason, unfortunately it looks like there are no bolt on front hitches for a 2000 GMC Sierra 3500. Your best bet would be to use a universal hitch like the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # C13702 which will fit on frames that are 18" to 51" wide. This wouldn't be a bolt on install but will still work the same.

We do also have the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31042 for a 4WD and # 31043 for a 2WD that will work with the "C" or "K" 3500's respectively.

Hey Jason, how did things turn out with the front hitch options for your GMC 3500? Did one of the Curt hitches or the adjustable universal hitch end up fitting your setup? Your update could make it easier for others trying to add a front receiver to the same truck.
