I want to install a front tow hitch on my 1996 GMC Sierra. I saw a video that a bodiak product can slide over the tow hooks and be bolted on. If you carry that or some other hitch that can do that please contact me. Its only for moving my boat in a tight area.

Hi Frank; we don't have any hitches designed to be taken on and off like the Bodiak and I don't know of anything else like that still being made. However, we do have front hitches designed for permanent installation. If you have the 1500/2500/3500 4WD you can use the Draw-Tite # 65005. If you have the 1500 2WD you need the # 31042. If it is a 2500/3500 2WD then you can use the # 31043.
If you really don't want a hitch permanently attached to the front I would see if a local fabricator can copy a design like the Bodiak for your truck.

Hey Frank, how did things go with the front hitch options for your Sierra? Were you able to use one of the permanent hitches or have a fabricator make something like the Bodiak design? Your update could make it easier for others looking for a similar setup.
