Cover for 2025 Bigfoot 2500 Travel Trailer

Updated 10/14/2024 | Published 10/06/2024

Question:

I have a 2025 Bigfoot 2500 travel trailer with the optional storage box in the front of it which makes the length of the trailer 27 feet long. Without the front box, the trailer is 25 feet long. It does not have a straight down front like the pictures show on your site. I am looking for a good cover, I need to account for the spare tire and the ladder in the back as well. I am sending you the pictures. If you need the specs, I can send them to you. I am sure you have had other requests like min for this trailer. Do you have anything for me that would work? How much would it cost?

Hi Ronald; I'm assuming you have the 25FB or 25RQ which has a length of 25' 6" according to Bigfoot RV. The ladder rack and spare make it a little bit longer so accounting for that I recommend the Adco SFS AquaShed RV Cover for Travel Trailers up to 28-1/2' Long # 290-52244. This fits trailers that are 26' 1" - 28-1/2' long. Go ahead and measure including the ladder rack/spare just to be sure.

We don't have anything that can accommodate that front storage box so you will need to run the cover between the front of the trailer and the box, leaving it exposed. If you want that covered I would pick up a small tarp with grommets you could tie around the box to help protect it.

The only concern I have with your solution is to put a vinyl tarp over a gel gloss surface of that storage box. The rubbing effect caused by the wind would not be a good thing if it happened. I wish I could find a piece of that material that is used to make the cover to wrap up the box with. I wonder who I could contact to see if I could get some material or have them make me a cover for that box or, a tarp made of the cover material to cover that box. Ron

@RonP yeah if there is a special finish that might not be the best idea. You could reach out to an RV cover company like Adco to see if they have something to accommodate it. You could also cover it with a softer material that won't scratch it up and then put the tarp on top. I've never seen a storage box like that before and I don't think anyone makes something specifically for it unless the manufacturer does. It wouldn't hurt to check with Bigfoot to see who makes it, they might have a custom solution.
