Can HDX Grille Guard Have Hardware Swapped to Fit New Truck
Updated 01/05/2026 | Published 09/27/2024 >
Question:
I have a Westin hdx brushguard I believe it’s a 57-22275. I bought it new in 2013 for a 13 Silverado extended cab. I now would like to put it on a 2003 Silverado that I have restored. What installation kit do I need?

Hey Blake, I wish it was that simple but the hardware kits and the grille guards are both made to fit the vehicles they are a fit of. So you could try and find a fabricator/welder in your area to make you brackets to fit the new truck or it would be time to get a new guard.

Hey Blake, did you end up having a fabricator make brackets for your Silverado, or did you go with a new grille guard instead? Knowing what route worked could really help others trying to reuse their old Westin guards.
