All I need is a hitch for carrying bicycles. Does it really make a difference which one.....with or without LED? Thanks

Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24843 happens to fit the 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback with or without LED lights so you can use it. If you have a sedan then use the Curt hitch # C11393. It will also fit sedan models with or without LED tail lights.
Both of the hitches mentioned are Class I trailer hitches with 1-1/4 inch receivers. This means that you will need a Class I compatible bike rack and you can carry up to 2 bikes maximum.
For a bike rack I recommend the Swagman Trailhead, # S63360. It fits the requirements of the hitches and it can tilt, includes anti-sway cradles, and has a rise in the shank for additional ground clearance. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
