Question:
I would like to use this light in the ceiling of the cabin on my boat. Is there room to snug the wires inside the unit? There is no recess available. If so will it get too hot?

Hello Marlon. The Custer LED Interior Trailer Dome Light # CPL33C does not really have any room to store excess wires inside the light itself. Generally, this would be mounted on an RV wall or ceiling with room behind the light for running wires.
We do have another dome light, the Opti-Brite LED Trailer Dome Light # ILL91CB which is a similar dome light only it has room behind the light for the wires.
