Question:
I want to be certain I get everything I need. I have a 2015 Ford F150 that came with the factory 4-prong connector, I need to be able to use the brakes on my trailer so I need to install the adapter to go from 4-prong flat to 7-prong and also I need the brake controller with custom harness. From what I understand I need the brake controller - Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional Part Number: TK99UR , but Im not sure on the wiring harness for the trailer connector going from factory 4flat to 7-prong, one of your videos for a 2014 F150 says use the ETBC7 but a representative said use Connector 118283. Could you inform me which one I need- again I have a 2015 F150 with no brake controller and a factory flat4 trailer connector ?

Hello Chris. The # ETBC7 kit your mentioned can be used for this purpose. This is more of a universal solution that works on any vehicle. The # 118283 that I mentioned is a custom wiring harness and will be a much better option. Since you already have the 4-flat this allows for plug and play components which are always preferred over universal options.

Hey Chris, how did things go with the T-One wiring harness and the Prodigy P3 brake controller on your F-150? Did the plug-and-play setup make the install easier? Your update could make it easier for the next person working on the same truck.
