Question:

Is it possible to use this product as an engine oil cooler and/or as an intercooler heat exchanger?... I am having engine temp issues with the supercharger on my Jeep TJ, and remote mounting the heat exchangers is my greatest challenge. This product seems perfect. Also, is it possible to install two on the Jeep? Not sure where your mounting location is for this product, and wanted to make sure I can fit two before I order two. Thank you for all of your help. It is much appreciated!

I spoke with my contact at Derale and he said that you can use the remote cooler # D20561 as an engine oil cooler for your Jeep. But you would have to change the fittings from 3/8 to 1/2 inch using # D15712. You would also need a sandwich adapter kit, # D15735. This allows the oil to get to and from the cooler.

You would not need 2 of the coolers since the remote cooler has its own fan and provides the optimum cooling. I have linked the instructions that show where the cooler installs for you. There isn't really room for 2 of them.
