Question:
Hello, I have a 2013 BMW x1 that I am planning on installing the 2inch curt trailer hitch on it model Number C13140. I also have the volton ebike 53lbs and a stromer ebike 62lbs and a specialized Rumor 29lbs. Total weight is 144lbs. According to my research, I understand that the total weight has to be below 160lbs. With these 3 bikes, it will be under 160lbs. My question is if this setup is ok. Also, I read on one of the pages that each bike cannot be more then 55lbs. But on the manufacture page, it says it can support 60lbs each. Please advice. Thank You

To begin, the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # C13140, will fit your 2013 BMW X1. It has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 250 lbs, but you will want to check your owners manual or with your local BMW dealership to verify the tongue weight capacity of your vehicle. If the tongue weight capacity of the vehicle is lower, then you will want to use that as your limit.
For a bike rack, I recommend looking at the Thule T2 Pro XTR Platform-Style Bike Rack, # TH69TR. This bike rack offers a 160 pound capacity with the 4-bike version, having a single-bike weight capacity of 60 pounds. You would need to shed a few pounds off of your Stromer e-bike by removing the seat so it falls within the 60 lb weight limit.
