Is There a Minimum Crossbar Size For Malone Foldaway-5 Kayak Carrier

Question:
Could you tell me the minimum crossbar dimensions that will work with the FoldAway-5 double kayak J rack? My crossbars are elliptical and are too slim for some J racks, I would like to see if yours will fit before I purchase. Thanks!

Hello Matthew,
I checked with Malone, and there isn't actually a minimum crossbar size that is required for the Malone FoldAway-5 Kayak, Canoe, and SUP Carrier # MAL38FR.
The carrier will work with elliptical bars like yours,
