Availability Of Replacement Foam Protector Sleeve For Malone FoldAway-5 Kayak Carrier

Question:
We recently bought a rack system from you great service! and tore one of the Malone foam protector sleeves on the swing-away vertical arm. Is there a replacement for this? I could send a photo if you want. Thank you.

Hello Gary, thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to say that we do not offer a replacement foam protector for the Malone FoldAway-5 Kayak Carrier # MAL38FR. While it is rare, it is not completely uncommon for the foam pads to tear or crack. What I would do is just repair it with some duct tape as best you can. I have heard of people buying adhesive foam strips to use as replacements, but this is not something we offer here. Either way, your best option is to find a way to repair the foam sleeve, rather than replace it.
