Second question: Do you have a recommendation for how to secure the Solera 21 wide awning from having problems with high wind pushing the awning up and down and damaging it? Scott

To help prevent damage to the Solera XL 12V Power RV Awning # LCV000335015-362241 when out in wind you can use the Camco RV Awning Anchor Kit # CAM42593 but if there are very high winds and strong gust you really should roll the awing back in since there is a lot of surface area on that wide awning.
I do recommend also adding a Support Cradle # LC289373 to the center of the awning to help reduce damage to the awning tube as the trailer is bouncing down the road being towed.

Hey Scott, how did things go with the Camco anchor kit and the support cradle on your Solera awning? Did they help keep it steady when the wind picked up? Your update could make it easier for others with wide awnings to protect theirs too.
