Our resident gear head suggested that shorty headers are not always what they are cracked up to be. A google search revealed some people getting nearly 20 extra horse but who knows what other mods they have made.

Different exhaust alone does not provide huge gains in power. Coupled with other matching enhancements that are all compatible such as cold air intake like # AR351-210 you can start to see fairly significant gains. Of course deleting the catalytic converters will make it no longer street legal.

The 15 extra horse is an estimate based on the information that was available but there is no dyno sheet to fall back on. Gains of 15 horse were found on the SRT models with the bigger motor.

It seems like a huge investment but considering that the MagnaFlow systems are stainless steel and carry a lifetime warranty you can see why the cost is worth it!
