Why are Cutout Dimensions For The Everchill RV Refrigerator # EV27FR Larger Than the Refrigerator?

Hello, I have a 2019 Arctic Fox 28 5C Fifth Wheel. It has the Norcold 1210 refrigerator that I need to replace. The 1210 dimensions from my tap measure is 33” wide 26.5” deep and 65” tall. I have an under cabinet drawer beneath that we can scavenge but would like to avoid. I looked at the EV27FR and I seems to fit but is narrower. The cutout dimensions are wider though. Doi need the full couture dimension? Is there another refrigerator that is an option? I only want to consider 12 volt.

You do need the full cutout dimensions listed for the Everchill RV Refrigerator # EV27FR. While the refrigerator is only 29-5/8" wide by 72-3/4" tall and 26-3/4" deep, it needs the space of 37-7/16" wide by 84-1/2" tall and 28-3/4" deep to prevent the refrigerator from overheating. This space allows for sufficient air movement around the refrigerator.

I do not see that we currently 6/14/2024 have another option which will fit your current cutout.
