Hey Diane, so the Thule T2 pro part # TH23GC is a really great option for a 2 bike hitch rack that fits the 1-1/4 inch hitch size that you most likely have at the rear of your Subaru. It weighs 49 lb which is a little on the lighter side for this type of rack.

Another rack I really like from Thule that would work with your Subaru is the Thule Easy Fold XT part # TH903202 which weighs about the same but has a ramp that pulls out to make loading and unloading the bikes a lot easier. This fits the 1-1/4 inch hitch size as well as the 2 inch hitch size.
