Question:
Looking for a hitch for a 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon- its the 3.6R version with the dual exhaust/ dual mufflers. Will the hitches for the regular single muffler Outback Wagon fit? Like the Drawtite 75673. thanks

Your 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon 3.6R with dual exhaust is compatible with both of the 2-inch Class III hitches you referenced, the Draw-Tite # 75673, according to my technical contact at the brand. It is a fit for your Subaru as long as it is not the Sport model. Installation will require temporary lowering of the exhausts and some minor trimming of the heat shield. It includes all required mounting hardware.
If you will need a 4-pole flat wiring harness for your trailer you can use the TowReady T-One plug-in harness # 118467. This harness simply plugs in without need for cutting or splicing wires. The recommended ball mount for use with this hitch is # C45010; for a 2-inch hitch ball you can use # 63845; for a 1-7/8-inch ball you can use part # 19260.
I have linked several articles concerning hitch installation and towing that might be helpful. Also included is a video showing installation of hitch # 75673 in a 2012 Outback Wagon. Written instructions are linked also.
