Trailer Hitch to Tow a Jet Ski Trailer with a 2013 BMW 328i xDrive

Question:

Im looking for a tow hitch for my 2013 BMW 328XI to tow a 1000 lb jet ski. Will this tow hitch be the right one to buy? Would I need to go to a mechanic to have it installed or would I be able to do it myself? Please advise.

The Curt trailer hitch # C11367 will fit your 2013 BMW 328i xDrive (which seems to replace what used to be called the 328xi). But you will want to consult the owners manual to determine if the vehicle is rated for towing and, if so, what its capacities are. The hitch is rated for 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 200 pounds tongue weight but if the vehicle is rated lower you need to go by the lower rating.
