I am looking to ensure that this kit, item #AA73DQ will fit a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport JK 2 door.

The Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards part # AA73DQ do for sure fit your 2018 Jeep Wrangler 2 door. This has the same brackets as the 4 door models but has shorter running boards to match the dimensions of the 2 door models.
The version that fits the 4 door model is the part # AA3036570.
