Question:
I need to install an after market brake controller on my 2014 chevy 3500, it says the wires are located under the steering column and are blunt cut. Do you have a video or pictures of how to install and also which brake controller do you recommend.

While we do not have an installation video I have linked a great help article we have for this near the bottom of the page. The article includes pictures of the wiring and goes into further detail about the installation on your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. On top of the brake controller you will need a M6 # 185916 and M8 # 185917 flange nut.
For brake controllers our best is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This has an easy to read LCD screen which you can customize unlike other controllers. It also has built in diagnostics which make troubleshooting issues easier and instead of complicated trouble codes the controller tells you what is wrong.
If you do not like the large control box we do have the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR which only places a small control knob on your dash. The main unit is hidden behind the dash so it gives you a very clean look.
