Can the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising Be Used On a Truck Bed Camper

Question:

We have a truck camper that came with a 5-step set of torklift stairs. I think theyre the stow and go you take them out of the truck camper and attach them to a bracket right under the door and then expand them to the ground. I have two questions about the UPRISING steps: 1. Will they work on a truck camper? 2. Can we buy parts to retrofit our current set of steps? Thanks for your help!

Yes, the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising Steps w/ Booster Step # TL64YR will work with a truck camper, but you can't buy anything to retrofit these steps to fit your current steps.

These steps are meant to be used by themselves not with another set of steps. In order to get you the correct set of Uprising steps you are going to need to first measure the doorsill plate; this needs to be between 5/8" and 3/4". The next thing you need to measure is the doorsill plate clearance; you need a minimum of 3/8" of clearance.

Since you already know you need 5 steps the least thing I'll need is the step width. You can find this by measuring the in between door frame flanges.

If you can provide some more info I'd be happy to find you the correct set of Uprising steps.
