The best hitch for a 2023 Toyota RAV-4 is the etrailer item # e23ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware. The reason this is the best hitch is because the crossbar is concealed behind the rear bumper and the 2" receiver is all that is visible.

The etrailer item # e23ZR is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 4,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 600 lbs maximum tongue weight. This hitch can be used with a weight distribution system but it will not increase the towing capacity.

I have attached an installation video below along with a couple of pictures so you can see what this hitch looks like once installed.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56434 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
