To replace your Coleman Mach 15 48254C869 AC unit I recommend the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # ACCOL150B which comes with an adapter harness that makes this a plug-and-play installation instead of having to splice everything together.

This Advent AC unit has a 1-Year warranty.

Hi Jon, I have a Coleman Mach 15 48254C869 that has stopped working. I replaced the capacitor but it still is not working. The compressor kicks on but then the PTCR switch on tip of the compressor sparks and the compressor shuts off. Then is try to come back on for a couple of seconds and does the same thing. I tested the PTCR switch and my meter saids it is good. The pipe starts to get cold when this happens. If I need a new ac does the Advent Air RV AC come with the Coleman setup? Mine is ducted and will I need a vent assembly on the ceiling? Thanks for your time, Bill

@BillB We used to have some Advent AC units that were rated to replace a Coleman AC, but we've found out that the fits weren't very reliable, so I recommend going with the Furrion Chill HE # FR32PV instead. This has an exact fit with the wiring, and the Furrion brand has been much more reliable when it comes to matching connections.

@JonG what if I wanted to go with Furrion 18000, would that work?

@Billb You can go with the 18K Chill Cube # FR49TD, but you'll need to go with the whole new assembly that I linked as opposed to just the standalone AC unit. The Chill Cube uses the new R32 refrigerant, and it unfortunately isn't backwards compatible with older ceiling units.
