There is no recommended center to center distance for the Pack Em Trimmer Rack, # PK-6, but they must be mounted a minimum of 3ft apart. Trimmers come in different sizes and lengths, so it is best to mount the racks to fit your specific trimmers. The distance between the racks will also depend on where you plan on holding the trimmers. Typically, trimmer racks are mounted to hold the trimmer at the trimmer handle and on the neck, about a foot or two from the trimmer head.
If you measure from your trimmer handle (just behind the trigger switch) to an area on the neck or shaft, a foot or two from the trimmer head, that will give you a good idea of how far apart you will want to mount the trimmer rack on your trailer.
