I have stowmaster 5000 tow bar looking for base plates for 2018 gmc cierra 1500.

The StowMaster 5,000 only has a 5,000lb capacity so it will likely be overloaded by your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 so I don't recommend using it. If you still choose to then you'll need a crossbar style baseplate like the # RM-3177-1 you were looking at. If you want to upgrade to a heavier duty tow bar, like the etrailer # e74ZR, then you can go with a direct-connect style baseplate like part # RM-3177-3.
