Will Yakima gunwale canoe brackets mount directly to the 5031-1 kargo master congo cage 1.625” tubing that runs parallel across the top of the windshield and rear window? If so, what part number s.

The Yakima KeelOver canoe carrier, # Y04069, will fit on crossbars are up to 3-1/2 inches tall x 3-1/2 inches wide so it shouldn't be a problem.
The Thule Portage canoe carrier, # TH819, would also fit since it will fit round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars. The 1-5/8 inch round bars would not be a problem for this carrier.
Another option is to use universal foam blocks # RL100K10. These are basically just foam blocks for cutout for the the bars and for the canoe sides.
