Question:
We have a 2008 Newmar Baystar with Dometic Brisk that is bolted to the roof. Its a ducted system with no ceiling air distribution box accessiblefrom the interior. Can the Advent AC be mounted to the roof without cutting a hole in the ceiling inside the RV?

Since you don't have an air distribution box to remove and check the wiring you'll need to unbolt the unit from the roof and determine how the rooftop unit connects to the controller. The Advent Air # ACDOM135B comes with a 6-pin connector to plug into the controller. If your Dometic system is hardwired then you can cut the connector off and hardwire it in, but you'll void your warranty and would still need to reach out to Dometic for a wiring diagram to match up the correct wires. If you have a 9-pin connector on your current unit then you'll also need the # ACCOLKIT wiring adapter to be able to plug into the controller.
