Air Conditioner Replacement For Dometic Duo Therm of RV

Question:
I have Two thousand and three b t bruiser it has a dometic duo therm ac low profile unit, You can see by the pic the model # and btu and that the control box is up top by the capacitor and start relays. Does this mean I need to buy the separate control box, I am looking to purchase the advent 15000 btu unit and want to make what I need to make this work, also my freeze sensor is bad and I have the analog duo therm thermostat, let me know if any other info is needed, thank you!

Advent Air actually makes a version of their AC units that was specifically designed for replacing Dometic units like your Duo Therm with the part # ACDOM150B. This will replace the controller and bad freeze sensor but will allow you to use your current thermostat and air distribution box.
