Are the Outside Straps for the Thule RoundTrip Available for Replacement

Question:

I have a Thule RoundTrip Sport Bike Travel Case # TH100500 needing to replace the plastic strap buckles on the outside. You say it doesnt look like Thule makes replacements for it which they told me so youll either need to replace the whole RoundTrip case $450 for a simple plastic buckle replacement? or try to find an alternative solution. What is the alternate solution? Has Thule made a travel box that has parts that cant be replaced anywhere? Why have they given up on offering these plastic buckles?

I spoke with Thule and they said that the outside strap on your Thule RoundTrip is not offered as a replacement. Thule states that they do not offer replacements for any parts that are sewn or riveted onto a product.

So, the only routes you'd be able to take is the warranty route or if you're out of warranty you'd have to buy a whole new box like the Thule Pack 'n Pedal RoundTrip Transition Premium Bike Travel Case # TH100502.
