can i drive the yakima on ramp without a locking pin? I drove it on the hwy and it didnt fall out. my boyfriend says it will.

The Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # Y36FR will absolutely need a hitch pin to prevent it from falling out of the trailer hitch receiver while on the road. This specific bike rack doesn't allow for a standard hitch pin so you would have to use one like part # Y8890200, which threads into the shank of the rack to prevent rattling. You don't necessarily need the lock # Y07235 for it but you'll at least need to use the clip with it.
