Question:
I want to put a 2 inch trailer hitch on my 2012 Honda Accord to be able to transport my electric wheelchair on a carrier. Can you make a class 2 hitch for my Accord?

Expert Reply:
For lighter duty vehicles like your 2012 Honda Accord there are only 1-1/4 inch hitches available like the Draw Tite part # 24899 since the vehicle just doesn't have the capacity for heavier accessories like a wheel chair carrier.
Only solutions would be a vehicle with higher weight capacities or use the Draw Tite hitch I mentioned to to a small trailer. If you were going to go the trailer route you would also need trailer wiring like with the # 118420.
