AC Unit Recommendation for 1993 Casita Trailer
Published 06/07/2023 >
Question:
I recently bought a 1993 Casita trailer w Azc unit in front wall below closet. Unit cools well at night but during day it has a challenge cooling adequate enough w the Aruzona desert heat which is not much kver 100 yet for daily Highs. I cleaned filter and pulled grill outside and unit Is clean there. I voild not locate what BTU is on the Emerson Quiet unit. So would a 12000 BTzi u n it be overkill for a q6 foot trailer, especially in hot desert areas,? Need to know where to get best price for top quality heavy duty replacement. Thanks,

For what you are looking for I would go with a 13.5k BTU AC unit for your Casita as basically you just need more BTUs. It's better to have a little more AC unit than needed then the opposite problem which is what you have now. So for that the Advent Air Unit # ACM135C would do a great job. It comes with an air distribution vent assembly and a start capacitor as well.
