How Wide of a Slide Topper for 13'7" Slide Out

Question:
Several answers include the recommendation of having the awning extend 2 1/2inch past each end of the slide. Item LCV000168110 is listed at 13foot 7inch and my slide measures 13foot 7. Will item LCV000168110 extend the recommended 2 1/2inch past each end of the slide? I dont mind buying a larger slide topper preferably black to gain extra protection, I just dont know how much excess the mounting hardware can accommodate. Thanks for any help.

The awning fabric of the # LCV000168110 is exactly 13 foot 7 inches so it would not have any overhang past the ends of the slide. Going with the next size up would give you best coverage. For that you'd want the part # LCV000163302 which we only offer in white.
