Question:

As you can see, it is not the ideal application nor is it watertight, but the bit that gets in doesnt bother me. The rear the sports bar floats on top of the cover with some foam. It is loose in the back of it but secured up front with bolts so its not going anywhere and isnt designed with rollover safety in mind any how. If the new cover is able to fit similar to this, i am fine with that. Thanks

The RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RE57FR has metal rails that cover the lip a bit more than your current folding cover does so you would most likely need to drill through them in order to mount your sports bar. This would void your warranty for the cover so I want to stress that before you make any alterations. You'd likely also have a bit of gap to fill for the space that the sports bar overhangs the cover's rails, which you could fill with a dense piece of foam like you have currently.

If you drill you bolt holes through the railing you shouldn't have an issue with water leaking in since the inner portion of the rails closest to the bed would have a gasket that the bolts would be far enough away from.
