Great informative site - thanks! I will be installing a 6 pole with a controller soon - truck is wired now with four pole. What controller do you recommend for a 10x use per year 6K tandem, and what installation video most closely follows the 2004 N. Pathfinder SE?

I would recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, item # 90885, for your vehicle. This is a proportional brake controller that brakes the trailer in relation to the speed in which the vehicle is stopping.
You will also need the # ETBC6, Brake Controller 6 and 4 Way Installation Kit, which has all of the items needed to upgrade your 4-Way connector to the 6-Pole Round connector for towing with trailer brakes and accessory power.
We have a video installation of a Brake Controller Kit on a 2009 Honda Odyssey for you to review. The only difference is that you already have a 4-Way connector installed and you will be installing the ETBC6 Kit not the ETBC7 Kit.
