Question:
Need to replace a Shelby 5856a-24z 1250# jack on a tandem boat trailer. Would like to upgrade to the next heavier duty. What options are there for doing this and use the original mounting plate? Thank you

As Shelby jacks are obsolete you are going to need to completely replace your jack and the mount. I recommend the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack with Dual Wheels # F27CR. This jack will bolt around your frame 3"-5" tall and features a 1,500lb capacity.
