Question:
What is the total depth measurement for the fan shroud itself ? The description gives measuremts for mounting area the overall depth to include the fan motor, and overall height and width. I would appreciate the depth of just fan shroud so as the determine the fitment possibility between radiator and water pump. Also does not the fan need to be removed a flipped as well as reverse polarity to reverse air flow to a puller fan . .

I went out to the warehouse and measured the total depth of the shroud for the Derale # D16925 at 1-1/2".
To use this as a puller fan you would reverse polarity and would need to use a custom shroud, as the included fan has to many openings to be effective as a puller.
