Question:

I have a 2008 quadcab ram laramie 3500 DRW 6.7 diesel 4x4 with factory running boards. Im looking for a front hitch . What front hitch will work with my truck. I seen one curt that says in the tech tip it will not fit . Do you know why ?

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31017 will not fit on the Laramie trim level of your 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 due to the lower fascia on the front bumper. Instead you will need the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65046 which you can see positions the receiver lower and will clear the fascia.

I recommend adding the Draw-Tite QSP Trailer Hitch Silencer and Cover # 63080 when you install the receiver. This will reduce the whistle that is often experienced when driving at freeway speeds and will help to stabilize hitch mounted accessories so they are not bouncing on the front of your Ram.
