Does the Offset on the Shocker Hitch Affect the Tongue Weight Capacity?

Question:
I am looking at the Shocker Hitch 9” offset gooseneck coupler. Does the offset “extension” act like a lever that increases the tongue weight being applied to my gooseneck ball, or reduce my truck’s tongue weight capacity?

The 9" offset on the Shocker Hitch Air Cushioned Gooseneck Coupler item # SHK79MR does not increase tongue weight or reduce your truck's capacity it just pushes the connection point back for more clearance.
This coupler has a 30,000 lbs towing capacity and a maximum tongue weight of 6,000 lbs.
